1955     Ford Thunderbird 1968 Big disappointment;  felt much bigger;  not a Corvette

1966                        Griffith 400 1966 Yikes!;  TVR could never have dreamed of this;  way too much power;  unpredictable handling

1970      Iso Rivolta Coupe 1970 Powerful Chevy V8;  decent handling put felt too domestic;  not sporty enough

1953     Jaguar XK120 1964 This is what all the fuss was about;  seemed smaller than it was;  great handling

1954       Jaguar XK140 1963      What a hood;  gearbox like MGA  great power from the 6;  little leg room;  handled really well

1960 Jaguar XK150S 1965 140 on steroids;  almost as fast as E type, but not same handling;  nicest looking

1960 Jaguar  MK IX 1964 Elegant but slow;  OK handling with the same old six

1961 Jaguar XKE 1964 Would do 150;  slower off the line than Vette until @ 3500;  good handling and suspension;  no synchro first

1963 Jaguar 3,8 sedan 1964 Nicely finished;  fast sedan as alternative to Mercedes 230;  more fun to drive

1965 Jaguar 3.8S  sedan        1965 Finally first gear synchro;  independent rear suspension;  fastest sedan yet

1964 Jaguar MK  X 1964 Much larger than 3.8;  beautifully finished;  not German

1965 Jaguar  XKE 1965 4.2 litre engine now with synchro first  gear;  beautiful

1969 Jaguar  XJ6 1970 Nicely made;  not the performer like the 3.8;  also had a V12

1975 Jaguar  XJS 1975 V12 with standard shift; a little ponderous

1975 Jensen Interceptor  Mark III    1975 Posh design with Chrysler V 8;  decent performer

1976 Jensen Healey 1976 Not sure what Healey had to do with it;  Lotus motor;  decent performer
